Extended Warranty and Related Services

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Important note:
  1. PANASONIC Shokunin Collection Extended Warranty and Related Services (the Service) is limited to customers purchasing PANASONIC Shokunin Collection (Shokunin Products) during the campaign period commencing from 1st September 2016 until 31st March 2017. Any extension, suspension or termination of the campaign period thereafter shall be determined at the discretion of Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PM).
  2. Customers are advised to read and understand the following Terms and Conditions before submitting any application for the Service. Upon submitting application for the said Service you are deemed to have read, understood and thus agree to be bound accordingly.
  3. This Service supersedes Clause 1.9 ‘Panasonic Extended Warranty’ stipulated in the Club Panasonic website. All other terms and conditions therein not overlapping with the general and specific applications of the Service shall remain in force accordingly.
  4. The PANASONIC Sky Series Air Conditioners (Sky Series) provide a separate one (1) year warranty period and two (2) rounds of maintenance services for purchases made from 1st March to 31st August 2016. Sky Series products purchase made after this period shall be within the terms and conditions of the Shokunin Product Services mentioned above.
  5. All customers’ information and data acquired, processed, compiled and used throughout this campaign period shall be made in accordance to the existing requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. (PDPA)

  1. Registration
    1. To be entitled for the Service, a customer purchasing any one or more of the Shokunin Products is required to apply and register the same online at http://club.panasonic.com.my. This registration shall not substitute nor invalidate any Panasonic product warranty stipulated on standard Panasonic Warranty Card including but not limited to Shokunin products.
    2. All online application submitted shall be processed and registered thereupon to entitle the registered customer to the Service offered subject to operating terms and conditions contained therewith.
  2. Service
    Registered customer of Shokunin Products shall be entitled to the Service offered by PM during the said campaign period consisting of the followings:
    1. One (1) year extended warranty period in addition the standard one (1) year warranty period shall be provided to any purchase of Shokunin Products
      1. Any related service provided to the customer within this extended warranty period shall is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated in the standard PANASONIC Warranty Card of the purchased Shokunin Products; and
    2. One (1) On-Site Inspection shall be provided to any purchase of Shokunin Products made within one (1) year from the date of purchase.
      1. This One-Site Inspection shall commence six (6) months after online date of registration to facilitate PDPA verification requirements therewith.
    3. The Service provided in sub-Clauses 2.1 and 2.2 shall only be applicable to selected Shokunin Products and its respective allocated works stated in the following schedule.

*All related works for the above On-Site Inspection shall be carried out by Panasonic Malaysia Appointed Service Centres (ASC). Technical observation and judgement made during such inspection shall be utilised and applied at the absolute discretion of authorised personnel of ASC. ASC shall not be responsible to any personal/collective technical preference during the inspection thereof.
